Ch. Salutaire Like a Mercedes, RN, ROM, CGC

It is with the heaviest of heart that we said good-bye to Ch. Salutaire Like a Mercedes, RN, ROM, CGC today. She was our first Standard Manchester, first champion, first CGC, first Register of Merit, first Rally Novice, first dog to go to Eukenuba and produced some lovely pups who have gone on to bigger and better things. We thank everyone for your love and support during this difficult time and we especially thank Veda for entrusting Mercedes to us so many years ago while we still had rotties in the house. She walked in, took over and has been a bright light in our lives ever since. Good-bye sweet girl you will always be missed. 1999 - 2012

FW:

my girl was 14 yrs., when she left me on 06/19/11, her remains r here at home with me. I love her still and have so many wonderful memories of our life together. I remember when we went back east the first time and she became the suject of a news story. She was my service dog and eeven tho she hung up her vest she still worked at home. At 11 yrs. She had to stop riding in the car so her last ride she knew she wouldn't be coming home, she did not go alone, aunt, a couple of friends, and me were with her and momma stayed for awhile after, wanted her to know how much she was loved. Love u now and forever in our hearts. Miss. Pookibear has crossed the rainbow bridge.

Dutch

Hi Dana,

I just wanted to send you a few pictures of my last Golden Retriever named
Dutch. He was an awesome companion and loving friend. And thanks to the
training we received from you and Larry, he was simply an amazingly well
behaved dog.

As you'll see from the enclosed photos, Dutch enjoyed going to the park
where he could visit with the squirrels up close and personal. During this
visit he had approximately 12 squirrels within 10 feet of him and at one
point actually let a couple of them eat sunflower seeds off the tops of his
paws. And never once did he even attempt to chase them.

I got Dutch when he was just 4 months old and he accompanied me almost
everywhere I went for the next ten years. He also helped me through some of
the toughest times of my life. Unfortunately he became ill with cancer at
the age of 10 started to slow down, then suffered a catastrophic fracture of
his rear leg from a fall at the groomers; the result of which was more than
he could overcome.

Dutch was an amazing companion and he will be forever missed. Thank you for
the excellent training you provided for both Dutch and I and for building
the foundation of so many fond memories.

I look forward to attending classes again with Alayla, my new companion
(Golden Retriever).
